A travelling exhibition prepared in 2022 to commemorate the publication of the Chronicle of the Catholic Church in Lithuania, which was first issued on 19 March 1972.

The six themes related to the history of the Chronicle – Origins, Content, Publishing and Distribution, the Road to the West, Surveillance and Repression, in the Western Media and Politics – tell the story of the birth of the Chronicle’s publishing, the dedicated work of priests, monks and ordinary people, the publication’s clandestine path to the West, its dissemination in the Western media and its role in the struggle for the rights of the faithful and human rights in the Soviet Union, and the KGB’s attempts to crack down on the publishers and distributors of the underground publication. The themes were explored through photographs, writings, documents from the Soviet repressive services, and digital images of original objects. Illustrative drawings of the Chronicles published abroad were used to create the visual design of the exhibition.
