A travelling exhibition prepared in 2023 in memory of partisan, political prisoner, captain of the division Antanas Lukša-Arūnas (31 May 1923 – 2 January 2016). The exhibition tells the story of the Lukša family, which is a mirror image of the history of Soviet-occupied Lithuania – all family members were involved in the partisan war and suffered as a result. In 1947, he was arrested, brutally interrogated, and sentenced to 25 years in a forced labour camp and 5 years in exile. He was imprisoned in the camps of the Komi ASSR, Tyumen, Irkutsk, and Magadan oblasts. In 1956 he was released from the camp and returned to Lithuania.

At the beginning of the national revival movement, he took an active part in the social life of political prisoners and deportees. He took care of the commemoration of the partisans, political prisoners, and deportees – building of monuments, mapping the history of the partisan struggles, publishing books etc.
