A travelling exhibition was compiled in 2014 in memory of Leonas Laurinskas (1926-2013), a freedom fighter. Laurinskas was a partisan of Kęstutis District, a political prisoner, member of the Lithuanian Freedom League, founder of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, and the Knight of the Order of the Cross of Vytis.

Laurinskas, who took part in the armed anti-Soviet resistance from 1945 to 1953, amassed a large collection of photographs. The historical photographs show the partisan leadership of the Western Lithuania (Sea) region and the commanders and partisans of units from Kęstutis District, partisan liaisons, formations, exercises, and moments of leisure time. The photographs collected and preserved by L. Laurinskas are an invaluable source of history and a testimony to the present and future generations about the post-war struggle for freedom in Lithuania.
